Engine Management Diagnostics (1) - Course Details

You may realise that to be able perform quick accurate diagnostics, you need to analyse more than just a fault code. Come on this course and use a variety of diagnostic tools to analyse all aspects of the engine control system. You are welcome to bring your own equipment along and you can use it during the practical sessions. This course takes technicians through the effective use of a range of diagnostic equipment, the gathering, analysis and interpretation of vehicle data .

Course Objective: By the end of this course you will be able to use a variety of diagnostic tools to perform quick accurate diagnosis of complex electronic control systems. You will gain an understand of how to best to approach a diagnostic problem and be able to get the most from the equipment you have.
        
        
    
Who Should Attend: Technical staff who need to enhance their understanding of relevant vehicle systems and test equipment.  To gain maximum benefit form this course attendees should have an basic understanding vehicle technology.

This is a intermediate level course.

• The diagnostic process
• Sensors and Actuators
• Serial Data Analysis
• The benefits of graphing serial data
• Component test and measurement
• Emission analysis

We encourage course participants to bring along their own hand held equipment so that they can learn on the equipment they will use when they return to work.
 

The cost for this one day course is £160 per person including refreshments, lunch, training materials and certificate of achievement.

Booking Conditions.
All training places must be paid for at the time booking. Training places cannot be reserved without payment being made.

Cancellation policy.
Cancellation 8 weeks prior to training event - 75% refund. Cancellation between 8 and 4 weeks prior to training event - 50% refund. If a training place is cancelled within 4 weeks of the training taking place no refund will be due.

Please note: We run a waiting list scheme and it is possible that we will be able to transfer your place and refund your entire course fee should you have to cancel.
